Andre Arizpe is a Senior Clinical Scientist supporting the chronic HBV infection program at Vir Biotechnology. Andre graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Texas at Austin, after which he completed a fellowship in clinical science at Achaogen Inc in South San Francisco, California. In previous roles, Andre has contributed to the clinical development of small molecule antibiotics intended to treat drug-resistant pathogens. At Vir Biotechnology, Andre supports multiple clinical trials aimed at developing a functional cure for chronic HBV infection.
