Andrew was diagnosed with HIV in 1994 and started volunteering in 2002. Currently, he’s the President of Kuala Lumpur AIDS Support Services Society (KLASS).
His doctor suggested that he help someone else, so he took it to heart, and has been providing support to newly diagnosed patients since. Passionate about HIV Treatment Literacy impacting Adherence & Compliance of patients, he has conducted HIV modules for NGOs, corporations, and trained PLHIV in Thailand, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka. HIV Sensitization & Awareness talks for Medical Students of the University of Malaya, Universiti Tengku Abdul Rahman, and Perdana University; & various health departments, district health offices, and clinics across Malaysia; round off his volunteer work.
