Angeles Rodríguez did her medical studies in Central del Este University in the Dominican Republic. She graduated in December 1977. She got her Masters in Public Health and a Major in Epidemiology from the School of Public Health of the University of Puerto Rico.
Dr. Rodríguez served as State Epidemiologist from 2001 to 2003, and works as an ID consultant for the Puerto Rico Department of Health for over 30 years.
Dr. Rodríguez is the President of Infection Control Program at El Maestro Hospital since 2005 and Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship Program 2017.
