Beauty Nerupfunde is a Community Advisory Board member representing people in the community who participate in research trials. She is a former participant, herself, in a microbicide study and she has an interest in seeing people getting empowered in order to live a healthy life. She is involved in community engagement programs where they make awareness campaigns on research and trials. She is also a primary (elementary) school teacher who actively participates in health education, especially HIV, under the guidance and counselling club where they discuss with learners, issues concerning HIV / AIDS and its effect
