Above anything else, Butch Lavaro is a humanist helping others fight the fight against HIV and AIDS. He is a nurse but has recently retired from the United States and has devoted his life to HIV advocacy in the Philippines. He is currently the Hub Manager for Bagani Community Center by LoveYourself Inc. In the three years he has been in this advocacy, it has been able to provide the people of Negros Occidental the only NGO that provides HIV services to the people. Being in this advocacy has helped him realize his dreams and purpose in life.
Professional focal points include but are not limited to business administration/management, financial management, cross-functional team leadership, auditing, process optimization, regulatory compliance, analysis and research, training and development, policy implementation and project management. Colleagues describe him as a progressive, driven, tough, gets-the-job done and fair individual who can be relied on to offer superior solutions that deliver results on time and within budget.
