Chia-Jui Yang, M.D., is currently the Associate Professor of Medical School at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taipei, Taiwan. He is also the Director of Infection Control Center at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Yang received his medical degree from the National Taiwan University College of Medicine in 2002. After an internship in the Department of Internal Medicine, National Taiwan University Hospital, he completed a residency in the Department of Internal Medicine at the National Taiwan University Hospital. This was followed by a fellowship in Division of Infectious Diseases at the National Taiwan University Hospital.
His research interests include sexually transmitted infections, esp. syphilis, prevention of HIV infection including post-exposure prophylaxis and pre-exposure prophylaxis, and combination antiretroviral therapy.
He has published more than 50 articles in several peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Yang is a member of the Taiwan Society of Microbiology, Taiwan AIDS Society, Infection Control Society of Taiwan, and the Taiwan Infectious Diseases Society. Currently he is a member of the Council of Taiwan AIDS Society.
