Dr. Chia-shu Lin is one of the few researchers specializing in both clinical dentistry and human brain and behavioral science in the world. He is the full-time Professor at the Department of Dentistry as well as the Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Brain Science, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan. Dr. Lin has been pioneering in teaching behavioral and brain science in the dental school in Taiwan. He designed and taught Behavioral Dentistry, the first course on the topic in Taiwan, at the NYCU, and launched the first online course Brain, Behaviour, and Dentistry in the international platform of online education. Recently, he was awarded by the Ministry of Education for his Teaching Research Practice Program on teaching clinical communication of dental practice via gamification.
