Virology Education is looking for a Communications Coordinator to join our team. You, alongside the Communications Team, are responsible for the strategy, optimization, and success of the marketing and communication for all programs including face-to-face, hybrid, virtual, and online educational activities. You will be highly involved in the internal coordination of communication activities and materials.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Proofreading and copywriting in line with the company style guide
- Working closely with the Communications Manager for oversight of communication quality and coordination using our team management tools. You must be comfortable acting as a primary contact within the communications team for internal communication requests.
- Managing and maintaining our websites (WordPress & Drupal) and social media channels.
- Supervision of our CRM (HubSpot)
- Communication with international organizations for partnerships and endorsements
- Assistance with company (virtual) exhibitions including logistics and other preparation
- Liaising and working together with project teams and content teams for program needs and with a solutions-based mindset, including:
- Coordination of communication schedules/strategies across several projects
- Gathering insight from the content team for project communications
- Helping to develop creative communication strategies
- Identifying and reaching out to project partners
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- A degree in communications, other relevant degree, or equivalent work experience
- Exceptional copywriting and editing skills in English (required). This will be checked.
- Are comfortable using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Have a good understanding of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience with marketing automation software, a CRM, and or WordPress/Drupal is a plus
- Maintain exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A willingness to learn new skills
- An eagerness to work as a team
Language
- Native-level English speaker (required)
- Other languages are a plus
