Daria Podlekareva is a Medical Doctor from the Belarussian Medical University in Minsk and PhD from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Now she undergoes fellowship in Infectious disease at the Danish Royal Hospital. She is a dedicated researcher and since 2004 has been affiliated with the Copenhagen Centre of Excellence for Health, Immunity and Infections. She has been coordinator for the EuroSIDA study in Eastern Europe and was a co-founder and senior coordinator of the TB:HIV studies. Her main area of research is epidemiology and management of HIV and TB/HIV coinfection in the Eastern European region, health care provided to people with HIV and TB coinfection and ways to improve it.
Daria is a vice -hair of the European Working Group on TB/HIV collaborative activities in Europe.
