David Jilich, MD, Ph.D. is the Head of the HIV Centre Prague and Deputy Head of the Department of Infectious, Parasitic and Tropical Diseases at Na Bulovce Hospital, which has the largest number of HIV patients in the Czech Republic. He is an infectious disease specialist and his main focus is HIV. He is an Assistant Professor at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. In addition to his clinical and teaching activities, he has also engaged in research at the regional and international levels (EuroSIDA, START) for many years. He has published over 60 articles in international journals.
Dr. Jilich participated in the MISTRAL study. He is a member of the European AIDS Clinical Society and Euroguidelines in Central and Eastern Europe (ECEE) Network Group. He was a member of the Scientific Committee at the 17th annual EACS Conference in Basel, Switzerland in the autumn 2019 and at the 19th annual EACS Conference in Warsaw, Poland in the autumn 2023.
