Mr. Doan Thanh Tung is the Executive Director of Lighthouse Social Enterprise, a YKP-led non governmental organization in Viet Nam, working towards a future of health and equity for all YKP. He is an active community health activist, community researcher with more than 10 years experience working and fighting for community health and rights, especially young one and most vulnerable groups in the society to ensure their well-being and equity. Tung has been managing several projects and studies on key populations, hosting the first LGBTIQ national summit called Stronger Together in 2019 & 2020, a founding member of Chemsex in Asia Platform, and supported the establishment of Lighthouse One stop Clinic and Center for YKP. His work has been recognized by the community in Vietnam and in the region and awarded the 2019 HERO Award - the young achiever category for outstanding young LGBTIQ activist in Asia and Pacific, Red ribbon award from VietNam Network of people living with HIV, Merit from the Vietnam Administration of HIV/AIDS Control, and most recently, he was honored in 30 under 30 Forbes 2020 with his and Lighthouse contributions to the HIV response and LGBTIQ movement in Vietnam.
