Dr Elin Lindhagen is a senior pharmacokinetics assessor at the Medical Products Agency in Uppsala, Sweden, since 2011. She is a member of the ICH M12 expert working group that is developing a harmonised drug-drug interaction guideline, as well as in the Methodology working party (former Pharmacokinetics working party) at EMA. She is a pharmacist trained at Uppsala University and has a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology. She was active as researcher and associate professor at Uppsala University between 2000 and 2010, with focus on preclinical development of anticancer drugs, and has also been working as a scientific publications manager at Uppsala Clinical Research Center (UCR) 2009-2011, mainly in the field of cardiovascular drug development.
