Eric Aris is the former Head of Department, Internal Medicine Muhimbili National Hospital.
He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in 1988, thereafter specialized in internal Medicine Muhimbili University College of Health Sciences,( MUCHS) UDSM 1994. He obtained Certificate in Gastroenterology in Shawa Univeristy Japan 1998; attended 2 years fellowship training in Neurology at Neurology Institute, University Medical Centre, St. Radboud Nijmegen the Netherlands 2002.
He is actively involved in Clinical Care in Internal Medicine and Neurology, at Rabininsia Memorial Hospital and the Aga Khan Hospital Dar es Salaam. He is Technical Advisor for HIV Care and Treatment program at Management and Development for Health.
