Dr. Everline Ashiono, a holder of Master of Medicine (MMed) in Pediatrics and Child Health and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) is an adept health development professional, with demonstrated high level and impeccable leadership, program management and technical acumen, with 20 years of experience in health service delivery and integrated programs in Kenya. She prides in providing strategic and technical leadership in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, budgeting, and reporting of donor-funded projects and programs in Kenya, with programmatic support to other parts of the African continent. Her programming experience spans several areas including HIV/AIDS across the cascade from prevention to viral suppression for the infected, TB, Key and Priority populations services, Supply chain and laboratory services, Reproductive Health, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, Malaria, OVC, and WASH, with knowledge of donor-reporting guidelines and solid understanding of USAID rules and regulations. She currently serves as the Chief of Party for the USAID Dumisha Afya project. She is a dedicated member of National technical working groups including the adult, adolescent and pediatrics, PMTCT, DSD, and Quality improvement TWGs and professional associations, including the Kenya Paediatric Association and the Kenya Medical Association among others. She has further been involved in the development of National HIV Care and treatment, PMTCT, DSD and Quality improvement guidelines and policies as a contributor and/or reviewer.
