Fiona Burns PhD, FRCP, is an Associate Professor in Sexual Health and HIV at UCL and the HIV Clinical Lead at the Royal Free Hospital. Her research interests are in the social and behavioural dimensions of HIV/STI epidemiology, with a particular interest in health care access, engagement and social inequalities, as well as migrant health. She chairs the North Thames Sars CoV 2 Vaccine Delivery Steering Group, is a PI on the Phase 3 Novavax trial and the soon to open Valneva Study. She undertook her medical training at Otago University in New Zealand before moving to the UK in 1995.
