Gregory Everson, MD

Biography

Gregory T. Everson, MD is a Professor of Medicine and Director of Hepatology at the University of Colorado Denver. He attended Cornell University Medical College, NY, NY, completed a residency program at Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals, Omaha, NE and received postgraduate training in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Everson is board-certified in the areas of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology. Dr. Everson is a Board Member of the Transplant Hepatology Committees for the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American College of Graduate Medical Education. He has published over 300 original manuscripts, reviews, chapters and editorials in various scientific journals, including the NEJM, Hepatology, Gastroenterology, Liver Transplantation, and most major textbooks of liver diseases. He is also the author of several editions of books for patients and families, including “Living with Hepatitis C: A Survivor’s Guide” and “Curing Hepatitis C: Current and Future Options for Treatment”. Dr. Everson has served on the editorial boards of numerous journals and is a member of several professional societies and boards.
