Dr Immaculate Mutisya is a Public Health Specialist and a pediatrician at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Division of Global HIV and Tuberculosis, Kenya.
She has over 17 years’ experience in maternal, child, adolescent and young people public health strategic planning, leadership, policy advocacy and development. Dr Mutisya is the brainchild and founder of the award-winning operation triple zero (OTZ) asset-based initiative that empowers adolescents and youth to adopt positive behaviors for better health outcomes.
Dr Mutisya holds a master’s degree in medicine in Pediatrics and Child Health (University of Nairobi, Kenya), a master’s Science in Global Health and Infectious diseases (University of Edinburgh, UK) and a professional training in epidemiology and adolescent health programming (LSHTM). She is a pursuing a PHD in Artificial intelligence (Capitol Technology University, USA).
She an appointed member of the WHO adolescent working group, the global child survival working group (GCSWG) and the Adolescent HIV &SRHR Scientific committee.
Dr Immaculate Is the recipient of multiple awards: CDC Global Health Equity Award, Adolescent Health Global award, and was recognized as CDC Global TB elimination champion in 2024.
