Dr. Jacob E. Lemieux is an Assistant in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He holds a B.S. from Stanford University, a D.Phil. in molecular parasitology from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar and member of the NIH-Oxford Graduate Partnership Program, and an M.D. from Harvard Medical School. As a member of the MGH infectious disease staff, he cares for patients with a variety of infectious diseases in the hospital and ambulatory settings. At MGH, Dr. Lemieux leads a research group that investigates the microbial genetics of infectious diseases, with a focus on Lyme disease, Babesiosis, and COVID-19, using computational and experimental approaches.
