Joseph Robert Linda

Biography

Joseph Robert Linda is a youth advocate with over five years of experience in HIV, TB and SRHR programming for young people. He focuses on ending the AIDS pandemic among young people by ensuring their meaningful engagement in local and regional platforms. Serving as a Youth Advocate at AHF Uganda Cares as he raising awareness about youth-related issues to the key stakeholders in the society towards ending AIDS. He serves as the U=U Youth Strategist at the Prevention Access Campaign. In this role, he leads youth-centered campaigns to empower fellow young people living with HIV to champion the U=U message and lead in the U=U global movement.

In 2024, Linda was selected as the AVAC Advocacy Navigator for 2024 trained in advocacy and later implemented a community project aimed at creating awareness, accessibility and uptake of comprehensive HIV prevention methods among young people and key populations in selected slum areas of Kampala, Uganda. He also serves as IAS Conference Committee Member. In 2023, he was the IAS 2023 Young leader and selected as the IAS Youth Hub Seed Grantee to implement the Tracer X project a digital platform supporting timely follow up of YPLHIV who miss ART clinic appointments.
