Prof. Ju Hyun Shim is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Ulsan University College of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in the Department of Internal Medicine at Seoul National University Hospital.
Prof. Shim has held various leadership roles, including serving as the Director of the Academic Committee (2024–present) of the Korean Association for the Study of the Liver. His research interests focus on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) genomics and clinical research in HCC treatment.
