Kossy Umeh

Kosisochukwu Umeh (kossy), was born HIV+, the only amongst Five siblings. He has a Technical Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering.
After being trained as Peer Educator in Teenage Zone foundation for Youth and Adolescent Advocate by Positive Action for Treatment Access (PATA) as its first set of adolescent advocates, His passion and mission has been focused towards leading, advocating and educating adolescent and young people regardless of their gender, sexuality, physical and HIV status to be the best they can be and help create a HIV Free generation.
He currently the Y+ 2018 fellow and a board member of the Global Network of Young People living with HIV (Y+) and Regional Community on Treatment Observatory West Africa, a member of the Association of Positive Youth in Nigeria, UNFPA Youth participatory, African Youth and Adolescent Network (AfriYAN) , a Volunteer for Positive Action For Treatment Access (PATA),APIN Public health Initiative and a co-founder of David Bongre Initiative (DBI).
