Kristina Brooks, PharmD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She received her PharmD from the University of Michigan and completed her postdoctoral training at the NIH Clinical Center followed by the University of Colorado. Dr. Brooks is a Co-Director of the Colorado Antiviral Pharmacology Laboratory. Her research is focused on the clinical pharmacology of therapeutics in children and pregnant people, primarily those with HIV, TB, and hepatitis. Dr. Brooks has funding through NIAID and NICHD and is highly involved in multiple studies through the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT) and AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) Networks. She is also serving as a Scientific Member on the DHHS Perinatal and Pediatric HIV Guidelines Panels.
