Dr. Lalitkumar K. Vora, a lecturer in Pharmaceutics at School of Pharmacy, Queen's University Belfast, earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, in 2017. He subsequently undertook post-doctoral research in microneedle technologies for HIV and other viral diseases at Queen's University. To date, Dr. Vora has authored 150 international papers, 2 books, contributed to 15 book chapters, and holds 2 patents and various awards. He has also part of over 140 peer-reviewed research work that presented in various international conferences. His research primarily focuses on nanoparticles and long acting drug delivery systems, with a particular emphasis on ocular, parenteral and transdermal with minimally-invasive and microneedle-assisted methods.
