Lasarus Ndiilenga is a 26-year-old energetic person and he is currently the Senior Namibia Adolescents Treatment Supporter (NATs) in the Khomas region. He is volunteering under the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSs), which is a facilitation of community-based adherence monitoring, counseling, and psychosocial support for Children, Adolescents, and Young People Living With HIV (CAYPLWHIV) in Namibia. In addition, he advocates for Young People’s rights across the regions both HIV positive and negative through a movement led by HIV+ Young people identified as the Youth Empowerment Group (YEG) where he serves as the vice president.
He is totally self-motivated and driven by the needs of Young People living with HIV and the ultimate global goal of the 3rd 95% amongst CAYPLWHIV. He believes with U=U we can end new infections and discriminations related to HIV among young people in our communities.
To get his thoughts away from busy his life, he goes for cycling or mountain hiking every Sunday afternoon just to get his mind ready again for the upcoming week ahead and he loves good jokes but most importantly he is a good team player in all he does.
