Leena Zino (Oct. 19, 1991) received her university degree in biology in 2015 from Saudi Arabia. She moved to the Netherlands in 2016 to study in the Top Master Program in Pharmaceutical and Medical Drug Development at the University of Groningen. She worked one year in pharma as a junior consultant in pre-clinical and clinical studies before she joined the group of Prof. David Burger at the Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen, to pursue her PhD (Sep 2020). Her research focuses mainly on the pharmacological and health challenges of using antiretrovirals in special patient populations, mainly those living with obesity or undergoing bariatric surgery.
