Marc van de Wetering is a senior researcher at the Princess Maxima Center for Pediatric Oncology. He did his PhD study in the lab of Hans Clevers where he studied T-Cell development. After obtaining his PhD, he continued to work in the Clevers lab where the experiments led him from Wnt signalling in Xenopus and Drosophila, to intestinal stem cells and colon. He has strong expertise in organoid technology and is currently developing methods for the establishment of pediatric cancer organoids for fundamental research and precision medication.
