Dr Marco Siccardi ha been appointed as a Reader (Associate Professor) in Pharmacology at the University of Liverpool in 2019 and his research focuses on the optimisation of anti-infective therapies integrating experimental phasrmacological data from in silico, in vitro and in vivo models. He is working in collaboration with several international research centres to develop pharmacokinetic models for the simulation of relevant clinical scenario in virtual patients, to characterise the ADME processes involved in drug disposition for traditional and novel formulations and to optimise novel drug delivery strategies for the treatment of infections.
