Dr. Marianna Menozzi is an Infectious Disease physician at Azienda Ospedaliero
Universitaria Policlinico di Modena, Italy. She has been working there since 2011 including the 5 year residency, both for clinical assistance in the hospital infectious disease clinic and in the outpatient ambulatory following personally almost 150 patients with HIV infection. Moreover she worked at the Modena HIV Metabolic Clinic, an ultra-specialistic ambulatory offering consultation on metabolic complication of HIV infection, with patients coming from all over Italy.
Her first field of interest is HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections, but she is involved also in antimicrobial stewardship, infectious disease consultation and COVID-19 patients management.
Regarding the research activity, she is focused on HIV and its complication as cardio-metabolic comorbidities, frailty and aging with HIV. Other fields of research are PrEP, Sexually Transmitted Infections and antimicrobials. She participated both as presenter and fellow to many nationalĀ and international congresses focused on HIV and other infectious diseases.
