Biography

Mario Alberto Jose Martins works as a Data Analyst and Social Media Strategist at the Yayasan Kasih Suwitno (YKS). He joined the Yayasan Kasih Suwitno (YKS) in 2019, driven by a strong passion to support key populations in need of assistance. Since then, he has been actively involved in several projects initiated by the Yayasan Kasih Suwitno.

During his time at the Yayasan Kasih Suwitno (YKS), he was appointed as the Media Communication Officer for the "Saya Berani" campaign, an initiative by UNAIDS Indonesia. The "Saya Berani" campaign aimed to educate the general public about the importance of sexual and reproductive health through digital platforms. It has since become a leading reference campaign in Indonesia for comprehensive information on HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health.

In 2021, UNAIDS Indonesia launched the "Tanya Marlo" campaign, specifically targeting youth and young adults. Within this program, he was entrusted with the role of Data Analyst and Social Media Strategist. Additionally, he played an active role in the content creation process as one of the content developers for the campaign. The "Tanya Marlo" campaign adopts the "Stepped Care Model" conceptualized by AIDSFONDS.

In 2024, he had the opportunity to participate in the "Interact" Project in collaboration with OUCRU, contributing to the development of the website Cekupyuk.id. He was also involved in promoting PCR-based HIV testing in partnership with Klinik Globalindo in Jakarta and Klinik Bali Peduli in both Denpasar and Ubud.
