Dr. Martin Obermeier completed his medical training at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, graduating in 2002 with a grade of 1.49.
In 2006, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis, entitled "Development of a highly sensitive assay for the determination of reverse transcriptase activity", achieving magna cum laude honours.
Dr. Obermeier has been a licensed specialist in laboratory medicine since 2012.
He currently serves as Head of Laboratory at the German Heart Centre Berlin (DHZB) and the Medical Centre for Infectious Diseases in Berlin MVZ mib AG, where he has gained extensive experience in managing laboratories and performing complex diagnostic procedures.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Obermeier is a lecturer in Medical Informatics at the University of Augsburg and Medical Virology at Charité Berlin, where he shares his expertise with future generations of medical students.
