At the beginning of the war in February, two HIV-treating physicians, Dr. Casper Rokx from the Netherlands and Dr. Marta Vasylyev from Ukraine, came together to take a critical look at the needs of those living with HIV in Ukraine. Within a matter of days, they set up aware.HIV Ukraine with the motto 'dare to share care.' This initiative aims to create awareness, provide medical help, and fundraise for HIV test & treat services for people with HIV.
