On the surface, Memory Wadzanai Mapfumo is an accomplished Public Health Physician with over 10 years of experience in the medical field.
More than her role as a Medical Epidemiologist she has great team building skills. Memory attained a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) with the University of Zimbabwe and a master’s in public health in Field Epidemiology with University of Zimbabwe as well. Since the onset of this Covid-19 pandemic she has been part of the case management and emergency response teams. Update she has co-authored several articles on Covid-19 including the recent publication on Test to Treat of Covid-19 by Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
