Meredith Greene, MD

Biography

Meredith Greene is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Indiana University. She is a geriatrician and American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist who is interested in how to improve care for the increasing numbers of older adults living with HIV infection. Specifically, she is interested in how geriatric assessment can be integrated in HIV clinical care settings. Her work has described functional impairment, multiple medication use and geriatric syndromes in older HIV-positive adults. Dr. Greene is a co-medical director for the website HIV-age.org, a collaboration between the American Geriatrics Society, American Academy of HIV Medicine, and ACRIA. While at UCSF she was involved with the geriatric HIV program Golden Compass, and will be working to bring these services to Indiana.
