Cheah Min Hui is a dedicated clinical pharmacist with extensive experience in healthcare. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Malaya, she specialises in clinical pharmacy practice, particularly HIV/AIDS treatment/prevention and osteoporosis. With a Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy, Cheah has contributed significantly to research on HIV and fracture prevention. She is deeply committed to patient-centred care and passionate about advancing public health initiatives.
She has been involved in various research projects, including testing the feasibility of AI chatbots for HIV prevention, factors affecting modification of antiretroviral treatment and acceptance of long-acting injectable HIV treatments among vulnerable populations. Having completed the Malaysian Implementation Science Training (MIST) Program in HIV in 2022, Cheah brings a specialised skill set in implementing evidence-based interventions into practice.
Recently, she has focused on laying the groundwork for the implementation of injectable, long-acting Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) among key populations in Malaysia, further enhancing her expertise in HIV prevention strategies.
