Monalisa Akintole is a feminist,transgender human rights practitioner,researcher and health rights advocate with six years proven work experience in strategic based policy advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights and ending gender based violence within the marginalised communities with specific interest in lgbti and sex work communities.
She is one of the youth consortium members of the Vibrant Young Voices Advisory Board consortium that seeks to ensure that excluded adolescents and young people have a stronger voice in policy,funding,and programming decision -making at all levels.
Currently ,she is working with Transgender Equality Uganda (TEU) which is a transgender women led organization whose mission is to engage,enrich and advance the lives of transgender community in Uganda.
