Mutsa is a consultant paediatrician and Associate Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Zimbabwe. She has provided care for HIV infected children and adolescents since the early years of the HIV epidemic. Her research interests encompass paediatric HIV with a particular focus on the prevention of mother-to-child transmission and childhood malnutrition.
