Nandita Sugandhi is a pediatrician with over 15 years of experience working in HIV Care and Treatment Programs in New York and sub-Saharan Africa. Dr Sugandhi obtained her MD at University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor Michigan then completed her training in pediatrics at New York University School of Medicine. She worked with the Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative as a Pediatric AIDS Corp physician from 2006 to 2010 providing clinical care in Eswatini, Botswana, and Tanzania. Dr Sugandhi then spent seven years working with the Clinton Health Access Initiative as a clinical advisor and another six years working for ICAP at Columbia University. In addition to her global health work, Dr Sugandhi is a practicing clinician at BronxCare Health System and currently serves as the chair of the technical advisory panel for PATA, a large network of frontline healthcare workers providing HIV Care and Treatment across Africa.
