Olivia G Ford (she/her; they/their) has been engaged with HIV-related media since 2007. She is Editorial Director of The Well Project, an online information, support, and advocacy resource serving a global audience of women living with HIV across the gender spectrum.
She has previously held leadership positions at Positive Women’s Network – USA and TheBody and provided consultancy to organisations such as Echoing Ida, the HIV Justice Network, InPartnership, and the Sero Project. Her writings have appeared in Black AIDS Weekly, Positively Aware, POZ, Rewire, and TheBody/TheBodyPro, among other outlets. She has also served as a perinatal health advocate with Birthmark Doula Collective, a birth justice organisation supporting pregnant and parenting people and their families in the New Orleans, LA area, where she lived for 8 years. She recently relocated with her wife and child to her hometown of Brooklyn, New York.
