Biography

Dr. Owen Tsang graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1992 and received training in Infectious Diseases in Hong Kong, UK and Australia. Dr Tsang is the consultant of the Department of Medicine & Geriatrics, Princess Margaret Hospital and the Medical Director of the Hospital Authority Infectious Disease Centre at PMH. Dr Tsang is also a member of the Scientific Committee on AIDS & Sexually Transmitted Infections, & the Scientific Committee on Vaccine Preventable Diseases, Centre for Health Protection, the council member of the Hong Kong Society for HIV Medicine. He is also the clinical associate professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has also been engaged in the training activities organized by the Clinical Management Team of the World Health Organization. His main areas of interest includes COVID-19, SARS, HIV, norovirus infection, hepatitis, tropical infections and other infectious diseases and he has authored various publications in local, International journals and book chapters.
