Pascal Akahome, PharmD

Biography

Pascal is an advocate for improved treatment and prevention access for Young Key Populations in Nigeria. He is the founder of Antiretroviral Improved Access Initiative (AIAI), an advocacy network focused on key populations. He is a fellow of the Advocacy for Cure Academy of the International AIDS Society, and was a Youth organizer for SPARK!19, which aimed to empower young people living with HIV with relevant skills. He also was one of the consultants on the Youth Activists and Advocates Scoping Project (YAASP) which sought to identify strategies for enhancing youth participation in the area of advocacy and activism. He is a member of the International AIDS Society, a pharmacist, and has experience in consulting in the area of strategies and programs around HIV care initiatives.
