Patricia Vasquez, MD is Chief of the Internal Medicine Service at the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Santiago, Chile, and member of board of directors of the Chilean Society of Internal Medicine. She received her MD degree at the University of Chile. Dr Vasquez specializes in internal medicine and infectious diseases. She has been involved in the management of patients living with HIV infection since 1994, creating the AIDS program and the Infectious Diseases Unit in San Juan de Dios Hospital. Dr Vasquez has strong interest in HIV in women and have co-authored the Chilean HIV guidelines for the management of women with HIV.
