Paul Loubet, MD, PhD, MPH

Biography

Prof. Paul Loubet, M.D., Ph.D., MPH, is a Professor of infectious diseases at the University of Montpellier and head of the Infectious and Tropical Diseases department at the Nîmes University Hospital in France.

He received his M.D., specializing in Infectious and Tropical Diseases, and his Ph.D. from the Université de Paris, with his research on diagnosing lower respiratory infections in adults.

His main areas of interest are respiratory infections in adults from prevention to diagnosis and treatment, respiratory viruses, epidemiology of vaccine-preventable diseases, vaccines, and HIV.

He coordinates the AC "vaccines against respiratory viruses" of the Agence Nationale de Recherche sur le SIDA et les hépatites virales – Maladies Infectieuses Émergentes (ANRS-MIE).

He has published widely in medical journals and collaborates as a peer reviewer with many top international medical journals.
