Mr. Pierre Giguère is a Clinical Professor at the University of Ottawa and a Pharmacy Specialist at The Ottawa Hospital. With over two decades of dedicated experience, Pierre's career has been primarily centered around the field of HIV. In 2021, he expanded his expertise to contribute to the 'Paxlovid adventure' by providing critical support to The Ottawa Hospital's Regional COVID-19 Assessment Center in managing Drug-Drug Interactions. Pierre serves as an Editor for the HIV/HCV Drug Therapy guide and actively collaborates with the Ontario Science Table to develop a Provincial Drug-Drug Interaction (DDI) guide. His primary focus lies in pharmacotherapy, drug-drug interaction management, and ensuring the safety of antiviral medications.
