Robin Schaefer (BA, MPH, PhD) works on pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV prevention for the Testing, Prevention, and Populations Unit of the Global HIV, Hepatitis, and STIs Programmes of the World Health Organization. He focuses on the development and adoption of global guidance for PrEP implementation, particularly for simplified, differentiated and integrated service delivery and new PrEP products. He holds a PhD in infectious disease epidemiology and has worked on a range of global health issues, including sexual and reproductive health and malnutrition.
