Sanjay Bhagani, BSc FRCP is a consultant physician in Infectious Diseases/HIV Medicine and General (internal) Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital in London, and the current President at EACS. He has a specialist interest in the management of HIV in-patients with complex multi-system and opportunistic infections and patients with viral hepatitis co-infections.
Dr Bhagani has been at the forefront of provision of clinical care for patients with severe and critical COVID-19 through the two waves of the pandemic in London. He is the Clinical Lead for interventional clinical trials for COVID-19 at the Royal Free Hospital.
