Dr. Sanju Sobnach is a HPB and multi-organ transplant surgeon from South Africa. He completed his surgical residency at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town and his multi-organ transplant surgery training at the University of Toronto. He then pursued an HPB fellowship at the University of Cape Town where he runs the HCC research platform. His research is geared towards multi-omic approaches to study HCC in sub-Saharan Africa
