Sara has been a Consultant in Sexual Health and HIV at Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CWFT) since 2006. She has also been the Consultant for Sexual Health London ( London’s online sexual health service) since it’s launch in 2018 - responsible for the clinical governance of the service, including the management of abnormal results and safeguarding of service users. Sara is a registered trainer at the Faculty of Sexual and Representative Health and for STI Foundation courses and trains staff to obtain certifications and competencies in Sexual Health, contraception and HIV.
Sara has completed the Ultrasound Special Skills Certification and leads the complex contraception service at CWFT. She is passionate about innovating clinical pathways, using patient engagement and digital solutions to deliver better care. One such project Sara leads on is Klick, a nurse-delivered care pathway involving a clinic specific app for HIV positive individuals.
