We are always looking for (Junior) Scientific Managers to join our team and welcome open solicitations for this role.
As our Scientific Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing learning outcomes through the development of state-of-the-art scientific and medical programs.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing needs assessments
- Content development, compiling conference/course programs, and commissioning faculty
- Medical writing including program descriptions, meeting & learning objectives, meeting reports, summaries etc.
- Editorial management of program content for promotional purposes
- Development of educational materials
- Screen & search for scientific content and educational needs to identify new opportunities
- Actively explore how to improve processes and programs to generate increased attendance
- Collaborate with the scientific team on optimal execution of all content-related aspects
- Guarantee independent and objective program content
- Fully manage, understand, and adhere to accreditation policies and guidelines and ensure knowledge is applied to projects during planning, execution and communication
- Establish and maintain a credible and professional working relationship with all stakeholders by ensuring that everyone is kept fully informed throughout the projects, and by providing a truly client-focused service
We are looking for a colleague with the following qualities:
- Scientist (PhD) or Medical Doctor (MD)
- Mid-level experience with online medical education is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent command of English
- Must be a true people manager
- Ability to prioritize tasks and activities to deliver within agreed deadlines
- Pro-active attitude (no 9 to 5 mentality)
- High level of personal accountability
- A positive, friendly personality with a good sense of humor

- Must be a resident of the Netherlands
- 0.8-1.0 FTE
