Currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Operations & Technology Management department at Boston University, she is renowned for her expertise in the digital transformation of supply chains and circular supply chain domains. Her research focuses on enhancing supply chain design to foster agility and resilience by utilizing cutting-edge artificial intelligence models. With an extensive background as a research scientist at MIT and various roles in several academic institutions and start-ups, she seamlessly integrates practical and academic insights into her work, publishing on technology and analytics in prestigious journals. Dr. Efendigil previously served as an Associate Professor at Yildiz Technical University in Turkey, where she received her MS and PhD in Industrial Engineering.
