In 2006, Dr. Kuimova graduated from the Novosibirsk Medical Academy. In 2006–2008, Dr. Kuimova completed her clinical residency at the Central Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology of the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor). In 2013, Dr. Kuimova successfully defended her PhD thesis on ‘Adjustment of Treatment Regimen for Chronic Hepatitis C in HIV-Infected Individuals’. At present, Dr. Kuimova is employed as a Scientific Researcher at the Central Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor. Dr. Kuimova sees HIV-infected patients at the premises of the Specialized Scientific Research Department for AIDS Prevention and Control. Dr. Kuimova participates in various clinical trials led at the Institute. Her areas of expertise include prevention and treatment of HIV infection, concomitant conditions associated with HIV and hepatitis, etc.
